Science Fact or Fiction - Charmain Ingleton

The question is, “Can Galaxies Collide?” I read an article that stated there was a galaxy called 0402+379 that’s 750 million light years away that has two supermassive black holes. It’s believed they’re going to merge. When this happens, it could show the course of what will happen in several billion years from now, to our planet Earth. As both our galaxy the Milky Way and the Andromeda galaxy with their own black holes are also set on a collision course! So, what will happen to our planet? It’s possible that Earth could be destroyed or even move into a black hole within another galaxy? But then what will happen to the Sun? Will it follow? Who knows, fortunately, I won’t be here in a billion years to find out. But as our planets are continuously abused by air pollution, chemical spraying, fracking and the destruction to the planet’s surface, will Earth even be here to witness it? I fear not. The question is, “Are aliens sending out low level frequencies?” Have you ever heard a sub-bass level frequency that’s so low it can only be heard when lying down? Well I have. It sounded to me like someone was playing a record with a very deep bass-line. However, I couldn’t hear any sound when sitting or standing which was very strange indeed. What’s worse is that no-one else in the house could hear it. So, what could it be? Logic indicated that it was vibrations coming from deep below the ground. So, is it possible that an engineer working underground was listening to very loud music and I was feeling the heavy bass-line, or could it be something more sinister, like an alien transmission of some kind? It’s a very sad day for Lancashire and a bad day for the United Kingdom. For now, that Fracking (Hydraulic Fracturing – the process of drilling and injecting fluid into the ground) has been approved by the High Court and Cuadrilla given the green light to Frack in Lancashire, other companies will interpret this approval as a green light for them to get their submissions approved too.  Sold to the nation as “GREEN ENERGY,” it’s far from that. For with Hydraulic Fracturing, tons of water, sand and chemicals are forced underground at high pressure.   This pressure forces cracks in the rock to allow natural gas to be released. Sounds good so far, doesn’t it? However, although that sounds simple, if cracks appear in the well shaft, leakage of chemicals will go into the ground water supply. The question is, “Are alien spacecrafts camouflaged?”   Have you ever heard an unusual sound or noise coming from the sky no matter what time, day or night?   If yes, you’re not alone.   There are many of us that have experienced this, including myself.   When strange noises are heard in the sky we try to find the answer but when nothings found it puzzles us even more.   But are our eyes deceiving us from what’s really hidden above our heads?   I recently watched a video clip of a machine in the sky that was hidden within a cloud.   It was transparent until it started moving silently away, then just for a second it was captured by camera.   My concern is that if one was detected, then there must be others also secretly touring our skies.   It’s a scary thought that something could be lying in wait watching and hiding from view undetected from human eyes.   I just hope that they’re allies.   But h...

The question is, “Are AI's a threat to mankind?”   We know that there’s currently a race to create the most realistic AI (artificial intelligence) on the planet.   So, with the creation of artificial intelligence, how can we be sure that they will not be a future threat to mankind?   My worry is that like the large social media sites that have the monopoly.   AI could too, be expedited by a tech giant that has the power to monopolise and then instigate AI onto human society in any shape or form.   In doing this, it would give them (the AI units) eventually ultimate control over humans.   With tech firms creating AI’s that can automatically update their own algorithms with daily contact of humans and with on-line learning, then mankind will one day become a threat.   Unfortunately for us with this on-line learning and automated updating, it will alert AI’s to our weaknesses and then we will become ineffective or worthless. ...

The question is, "Can Sinkholes destroy Earth?" Our planet is beginning to look pockmarked as more sinkholes spring up everywhere. Unable to prevent them from happening they continue to appear beneath our feet without warning destroying the environment, buildings, our homes and in some cases taking lives. So, we have a huge problem! For as more sinkholes continue to appear eventually they will link together to create one huge hole. When that happens, more destruction will head our way as the oceans, streams and rivers across the world merge and flow into this humongous hole to become Earth’s new sea. So, what happens next? Would there be any human survivors, and if so will they be able to live on the outer rim of this great hole without fresh water?
