What’s Causing The Ice Caps To Melt?

The question is, “What’s causing the ice caps to melt?” I’ve heard that the ice caps are melting due to climate change. Now climate change is the increase in greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane that’s in the Earth’s upper atmosphere. Scientists claim it’s caused by burning fossil fuels and deforestation which evidently is caused by human activity. However, I believe that erupting volcanoes have also contributed to this issue. Then there’s also the visitors from out-a-space. Now I’m sure that their space craft emissions are also contributing to this too. So, maybe someone should have a quiet word! “Prevention rather than cure,” is my motto. But anyways it doesn’t matter who’s causing it, however, I do find it interesting that as scientific experts are claiming this to be an urgent matter then why haven’t they been taken more seriously? With no drastic measures in place I wonder if this is the truth? As across the globe I see no ban on tree fel...

If Earth Evolves, Can We Adapt?

The question is, “If earth evolves, can we adapt?” It’s said that we’re in the midst of a climate change. We’ve all experienced unusual weather patterns at some point in our life. On some occasions in the UK, we’ve experienced a few different seasons in one day; from sun, followed by rain then sleet or snow. Some countries suffer extreme weather conditions, flooding, typhoons, hurricanes, tornados or even droughts. So, is climate change really the cause of this extreme weather, or is our planet evolving? With the Moon moving away from us by four centimetres each year and the Earth’s rotation slowing down, what will happen next? Nobody knows, but one thing’s for sure humans are great in adapting to any given situation. So, with that in mind could humans evolve? I believe so, our survival instinct is strong it’s just that most of us haven’t had to use it yet. But hey, I’m no expert. What do you think? Author: Charmain Ingleton http://thewalkways...

Should Humans Colonise Mars?

The question is, “Should humans colonise Mars?” In the mid 2030’s they hope to send humans to Mars. The idea, to colonise Mars. Unfortunately, it’s a one-way ticket, as a space shuttle to Mars will take 1.6 years to arrive. But they do intend to send others every 26 months. So, the astronauts from the initial space shuttle would be able to return to Earth at some point to see their loved ones. Now that’s all well and good but what if they run out of money whilst the astronauts are on Mars? As for this type of project to continue funding and investment is a must. Also, they’d need to have enough skilled personal to work precise and at speed, especially if their intention is to build and send a space shuttle to Mars every 26 months. Is this realistic, for the recruiting and training of astronaut’s costs money too. Buy hey I’m no financial expert. What do you think? Author: Charmain Ingleton http://thewalkways.co.uk/about.html

Is Air Pollution Solely Caused By Us?

The question, “Is air pollution solely caused by us? Experts claim that humans are causing air pollution. Different countries around the world use fossil fuels for different uses, for example; to drive, fly, sail, cook or heat homes. Unfortunately, it’s contributing to air pollution and causing climate change. If we continue with fossil fuels it will affect our environment and also our health. However, although experts continue to transfer all the blame to the human population, I believe we only cause a fractional amount towards air pollution. As I’ve realised that there’s another source which isn’t human related and that’s EXTRATERRESTRIAL. For years unidentified flying objects UFO’s have been reported by credited witnesses; military, pilots, astronauts and the police. So, logic indicates that these too are contributing and polluting the air that we breathe. We know we’re not alone, with more sightings being recorded I believe that they’re now the bigges...
