Can We Create A Synthetic Life Form?

The question is, “Can we create a synthetic life form?”

I read an article about scientists creating a new life form in a lab by altering the DNA.

DNA consist of four letters G= Guanine, T= Thymine, C= Cytosine and A= Adenine, together these create a code that underlies all living things.

However, this has now changed since scientists have expanded the genetic code by introducing synthetic ones at early stages.

This could create an entirely new life form!

So, with the creation of this new synthetic biology, do you think it will help or hinder mankind?

I believe that for every good that comes out of new science, bad follows too.

For in the future, isn’t it possible that this new creation will make us extinct with humans replaced with clones...

With this in mind, could this have happened before?

I ask this because we do have an evolutionary missing link, some say between apes and man?

But hey, I’m no Palaeontologist, it’s just a theory.

What do you think?
