Is The Giant Hogweed An Alien Life Form?

The question, “Is the giant Hogweed an alien life form?”

I read an article that claimed that heatwaves in the United Kingdom caused the most toxic plant the “Giant Hogweed,” to spread.

The plant, it’s botanical name “Heracleum Mantegazzianum,” was imported from Central Asia in 1893.

Now, I don’t believe that the importers knew how dangerous this plant was.

However, we’ve since learnt that it has a wicked defence mechanism.

The sap contains toxic chemicals and can burn people and animals if its touched.

I understand that most plants have some type of defence mechanism that’s used if they feel threatened, but this seems a bit extreme for a plant don’t you think?

So, with that in mind, could it be an alien life form?

We all assume that aliens walk on two legs, but could some have roots instead?

But hey, I’m no Botanist, it’s just a theory.

What do you think?
